Set your default avatar tonight
A Wednesday home game always has the same tiny friction: you sit down, the table sees the bland default picture again, and somebody opens the picker for the third time this week. Most people stop bothering.
Poker Now’s guide on Pick Your Avatar Once: Set a Default In-Game Avatar (September 8, 2026) fixed the root cause. Your in-game avatar is the picture in your seat — the thing everyone else actually sees. You can now set a default once, and it applies when you sit down.
That’s the Wednesday move. Inside any game, open the avatar picker. Every avatar tile now has a gear icon instead of the old X. Tap the gear, then tap Set as Default Avatar. It applies to your current seat right away, and a ★ star badge marks which one is your default. It works on both tabs — your own uploads and your My Premium Avatars from packs.
